Richard has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and specialises in the commercialisation of technology & IPR, advising businesses on applications, markets and structure for growth and investment readiness. In particular, he focuses on technology marketing, marketing strategy & pannin and his sector specific skills cover electronics, tele and data communications, software development, security, defence, video & audio, CCTV & broadcast, bassistics and engineering-related desciplines. He speakes business French and is a qualified sports coach.

A technology and business consultant in the UK and internationally for 15 years, Richard has founded, furn and sold his own manufacturing and technology businesses and has won national marketing and business awards. His sector experience includes engineering, television, video, CCTV, security, data communications, electronics manufacturing, software development and most areas of advanced technology as a consultant and buisness owner. He has workded in the defense sector in Europe and USA, structring development deals with US Government and major defense contractors. He has a great deal of experience working with venture capitalists & funders and has successfully directly raised more than £3m funding on hos own and clients' behalf. Richard has delivered the GBAS/GSB post start programme for some years.
