Secure contract leads to secure future A young north entrepreneur has struck a deal to keep the premises of one of the ?s most successful online price comparison websites safe and secure.
?AGS Security Systems now based in Mold has agreed an exclusive contract with moneysupermarket.com to provide onsite security systems and 24-hour CCTV for the company?s expanding site in Ewloe Flintshire.
?This latest high-profile contract win comes just nine months after 37 year old and father of three, Jonathan Turner secured funding from HSBC via Venture Wales to buy the established company from a local entrepreneur Allan Salkeld.
?The former telecommunications specialist and now managing director of AGS lives a stones throw from the company?s new self-contained offices on the A541 Mold - Denbigh Road and has already forecast 20 per cent growth this year as a result of contracts with moneysupermarket.com, Conwy Landrover and Conwy Jaguar.
?Speaking about his first months in business Jonathan said: ?AGS is a respected brand in the area meaning I inherited a solid infrastructure to build the business. I spent the first few months working with my business support agency to create a robust and targeted marketing plan to attract new clients while continuing to provide the kind of quality services to current customers that AGS is so well known for.
??It has been a busy and demanding time but buying AGS seemed like such a natural move.? I?ve always wanted to be my own boss and having worked with giants such as Orange on the commercial sales and marketing side, I?ve spent years establishing networks of contacts and getting to know what businesses in North Wales want and need.?
