Maldwyn is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Member of the Institute of Business Advisers and gained a first class honours degree in Financial Studies from the University of Central England. He is qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Business Counselling and is able to offer assistance, advice and guidance to clients from a variety of differing industry sectors ranging from self employed start up ventures to fairly complex growth companies who are principal employers in the North Wales area. Maldwyn is a general business mentor but with specialist knowledge of financial and funding issues. He joined the organization 2 years ago following a career spanning 33 years with HSBC Bank plc, 24 of which were in management. As a Senior Commercial Manager leading a team of some 25 people, based in North Wales and Shropshire, he is experienced in all industry sectors including leisure, tourism, care, catering, haulage, manufacturing, distribution and agriculture. Maldwyn is currently Chairman of the Board of a social enterprise known as Deudraeth Cyf and a School Governor.
