Well done to Robert Chapman on his challenge to run the whole 1030 miles perimeter of Wales.
If you failed to recognise Robert Chapman the Chartered Surveyor and property consultant in the above picture, don’t worry as he is normally in a smart suit accompanied with his hard hat advising clients (including Venture Wales) on property matters. I had to do a double take when I accidentally bumped into him on the coastal path near Cefn Sidan, Pembrey on Sunday 17th April. He was on the final stage of his 27 mile run from Carmarthen to Llanelli and going strong. Robert is running the around the entire perimeter of Wales (1030 miles) in order to raise £25k in support of research into Motor Neurone Disease. You can check out his progress and stages of his run on http://www.moonshadow.wales/
He has already completed nearly 240 miles in 9 days (which works out at an average of a marathon a day) and has 790 miles left to complete. Robert is running in memory of his friend the late Tony John but in particular to raise money for research into Motor Neurone Disease. All donations go straight into the MND research fund, so if you would like to contribute please go to http://www.moonshadow.wales/ I can’t think of a better cause and a more deserving runner in one big challenge.
Well done Rob!
